'Befriend' tells the story of three stroke survivors as they remember their experiences, as a young gannet sets off on a perilous journey.

I was the character animator for the film and I used a variety of both rigged animation and hand drawn animation in Toon Boom Harmony to create the two birds in the film, Baz and Mora.

I also used After Effects to assemble the scenes and to create the gannet's flight through the cliff tops.

The film is currently being used as a call to action by Creative Sustainability, to encourage more volunteers to share their experiences and help other survivors.
