Cardiff Quickdraw 2022 - Blend (48 Hour Challenge)
I worked with Stop Mo Studios again in March to create an entry for the Cardiff Quickdraw 2022 challenge, where we had to create a short film in only 48 hours!

The theme for the challenge was 'Blend' and we decided to create a film using a hybrid style of stop motion and 2D digital animation.
Using the two styles and contrasting bright colours throughout, we focused on the idea of a character intentionally not blending in with their surroundings.
I designed and animated the character in Toon Boom Harmony, and animated the key frames with bold poses and cartoony expressions to create the character's personality as they explore each scene. I also used After Effects and Premiere Pro for post production and editing.

The final film was premiered on the Cardiff Quickdraw YouTube channel on the 17th of March, and was shown during the Cardiff Animation Festival in April 2022.
