I worked again with Stop Mo Studios during three weeks across May and June 2021 to animate for their short film 'Into Trees'. The film tells the story of Liz, a brain haemorrhage survivor, with accompanying animation of a dipper bird facing pollution in their habitat.

I was the character animator for the film, using a variety of character rigs in Toon Boom Harmony to create the dipper birds. I also used After Effects to composite the scenes and add further depth to the shots.

I designed and built different rigs for the main dipper Cindy, designed for different purposes in different shots e.g. a Cindy rig for flying animation, another Cindy rig for standing and hopping on the floor.
